Roy Ashley Warlick

Saturday, April 1,  7:30pm Roy "Ashley" Warlick was born in Oxnard, California. Hanging out in the attic of his childhood home, he came across an old record player. From the first sound of Michael Murphy's "Wildfire" his love of music began. Early influences were Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. The pursuance of music for Roy did not come until much later in life. Roy is a self-taught singer songwriter musician. Not knowing a single chord, Roy found a deep determination. After many hours and many callouses, it finally clicked. While visiting a local farmers Market, a familiar face gave him the chance to step on stage for the first time. Now came a new fire within him. He finally knew what was missing all those years.
Stephen Daly Thursday, April 29, 7:30pm “Steve the Brit” (AKA Stephen Daly) comes to us via Birmingham, England, and considers himself an honorary Texan.   After many years of playing in bands across the pond and all over Texas, he’s now out on his own playing solo acoustic guitar and piano in the Northeast and Southeast Texas areas. It’s fairly obvious where the influence comes from when he delivers some fantastic version of classic songs from the 70’s 80’s & 90’s covering artists such as Elvis Costello, Crowded House, Squeeze, Gerry Rafferty, Super Tramp, Beatles, Elton John and many others.
Woot Talley Saturday, May 6, 7:30pm An Austin music veteran of 30+ years, Woot settled in with an acoustic guitar when he found one of John Lennon’s acoustic guitars.  Actually, he didn’t find the guitar; it was a gift from his beautiful wife Tammy and Barbara -- best mom-in law a man could have.  And to be completely honest it isn’t technically “one of John Lennon’s guitars.”  It’s an Epiphone EJ-160 John Lennon Signature model.   A guy can dream can’t he? He is inspired by Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Big Bill Broonzey, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, James Taylor, Keb Mo, Steve Earle and obviously John Lennon.

In their early days, they were the only band with a female fiddler, Sweet Mary Hattersley. Sweet Mary consistently brought the crowd to a screaming frenzy with her version of the "Orange Blossom Special." The music of Greezy Wheels reflected the cultural dichotomy of Austin in the. Greezy Wheels opened Willie Nelson's first

Their genuine style combines rhythmic guitars and catchy melodies with a modern southern vibe.
